Itinerary
Day 1
Rohru to Jiskun – 90kms
The trek begins with a pick-up from Rohru.
Enjoy scenic views of The Chanshal Peak and beauty of Dondra Village along the drive.
Reach Jiskun and have a confortable stay at guest house.
Day 2
Jiskun to Jakha – 4 kms
Today's trek takes you through captivating landscapes of forests and river.
After several hours of hike of around 4 kms, arrive at Jakha village (also known as The Hanging Village)
Spend the night at guest house after a fulfilling day.
Day 3
Jakha to Danderas - 7to8 kms
Prepare for a challenging but rewarding trek through the Rupin Pass route.
Pass through hamlets and interact with locals to experience their culture.
Enjoy the scenery of mixed forests and catch glimpses of the Dhauladhar range peaks
Reach Danderas, the camp point and enjoy the mesmerising waterfalls around the area.
Settle into your tents for the night and have a good rest.
Day 4
Danderas to Upper Waterfall – 2to3kms
Begin the day trekking towards Upper Waterfall.
This location offers stunning views of the Rupin waterfall.
After reaching upper waterfall area, rest for the upcoming day od crossing The Rupin pass.
Enjoy the peaceful campsite and spend the night in tents.
Day 5
Upper Watefall to Rupin Pass to Ronti Garh – 15 to 16kms
Day 5 involves a challenging yet rewarding journey from Upper Waterfall to Rupin Pass and finally to Sangla, Ronti Garh
Cover 15 to 16 km over 10-12 hours, transitioning from 15,263 ft at Rupin Pass to 9700 ft at Sangla Ronti Garh
Witness breath-taking views from the pass, conquer a challenging descent, and reach the picturesque meadows of Sangla, Ronti Garh.
Immerse yourself in the beauty of meadows and cascading waterfalls along the way.
Day 6
Ronti Garh to Sangla Kanda to Sangla – 9to10kms
· We will reach Sangla by 12:00pm, and then there will visit Kamru Fort.
KAMRU FORT- The ever stunning Kamru Fort stands at an altitude of 2600 meters above sea level and is only 2 km from the beautiful Sangla Valley. The fort is set at a picturesque location and offers tourists beautiful views of the Sangla valley, streams, apple gardens and many more.
· After destination sightseeing travel to Chitkul.
Chitkul-Hidden in the lap of Himalayas, Chitkul is called the last village in India. Chitkul is mainly known for its mesmerizing beauty and bucolic nature. The picturesque location and the scenic beauty of the place are what draws travelers towards it. If you are planning to explore Chitkul any time soon, then you have landed at the right place.
